Wassup. This is
Collin Clay Chace, also known by my rocker name,
Juha.
I've played roles from white neo-nazis to black drag queens, from green lab monkeys to orange aliens. That being said, I wouldn't mind being the next James Bond.
I've gotten some awards for my one-man performance work, including a Fellowship from the Rhode Island State Council on the Arts, a Threshold Grant, a Horizons Foundation Grant, a Self-Education Foundation Grant, and a Residency at the Jon Sims Center for the Performing Arts. That's my history in America, before landing in London. Still got the old accent.
My two Juha albums - The Grooms of God and Polari (both released by Agitprop Records) - got some pretty rad acclaim. Do check out the reviews here. I came from Hip Hop, then evolved into doing what I call "Gothic Soul Music." My new EP, Stomach, is the sound of Prince and Rick Springfield French-kissing.
Having recently starred in the upcoming UK feature film Break My Fall, my current project is a solo show called The Rock N Wrestle Road Show. In it you'll meet: Johnny Love Lotion, host of the Rock N Wrestle Road Show, expert on "what makes a hero"; heiress Delilah Bardeaux Counterbee, who's become a peace activist because war is interfering with her sex life; 8-yearold poet Luis Saragossa, who's sending Teen Beat magazine his poem "Crazy 4 Justin Timberlake"; Rex Raleigh, adult movie actor currently starring in The Crisco Kid; Johnny Deeper, rapper behind the hit "Titty Action Boy"; and Huey Walker Lewis, former U.S. Black Panther activist, current U.K. radical tube station announcer.
So yeah: Collin Clay Chace is the name. I'm also a wealth of knowledge about "one hit wonders" from the 80's.
